New Courses
WorkSafe Victoria developed Manager and Supervisor Courses (6-day and 1-day extension)
(1) OHS for Managers and Supervisors - Your Role and Responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and Accident Compensation Act 1985 (6-day course)
The course materials have been designed to provide managers and supervisors with information and skills to enable them to: (1) Effectively address occupational health safety concerns within the workplace and implement control measures to address these concerns, (2) Consult with employees to resolve health and safety issues, and (3) Assist injured workers to successfully return to work.
(2) Managers and Supervisors 1-Day OHS Extension Course
The course has been specifically designed and tailored to the needs of managers and supervisors. It can be undertaken by those managers and supervisors who have previously completed the Initial 5-Day OHS Training Course for Health and Safety Representatives.
These courses are run by request - either at ERGOSH premises or onsite. Contact ERGOSH for further details or to arrange a course.
Delivery of the above courses is subject to the enactment of the WHS Bill and future approval provisions by WorkSafe of ERGOSH as an approved provider of training for HSRs

ERGOSH training courses are conducted by highly experienced trainers with exceptional industry experience.
ERGOSH training courses are developed to ensure clients and course participants receive effective benefits. Courses are practical and informative, and incorporate the principles of adult learning. All courses are developed and presented by OHS practitioners who currently consult with clients seeking to achieve tangible OHS improvements. All training courses have an emphasis on activity-based learning and interactivity. The design of course content combined with the comfortable and spacious training venue ensures an enjoyable training experience.
If preferred, a training course can be held at your own premises and tailored to your specific requirements.
ERGOSH can easily create OHS training courses to specifically suit a client's needs. Please contact us for more information on tailored training courses.
Booking and cancellation policies:
- Enrolment confirmation: To ensure that an enrolment is confirmed, your payment or a purchase order must accompany the enrolment form and be settled before attendance.
- Booking cancellation: Registration may be cancelled up to 10 working days prior to the program, with participants either transferring to another program or receiving a full refund. Registration cancelled less than 10 days, but before 5 days, prior to the start of the program may incur a $50 administration fee per registration. Fees for registration cancelled less than 5 days prior to the start of the program and non-attendance will not be entitled to a refund.
- Substitutions: You may substitute another participant at any time prior to the start of the program should the nominated person be unable to attend. Notification of this change to the ERGOSH Training Coordinator would be appreciated.
- Course cancellation: ERGOSH reserves the right to cancel or postpone a program to an alternative date. All registered participants affected by such a cancellation will receive a full refund or be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available program.
